His Majesty’s message to the nation on the occasion of 2081 Rastriya Prajatantra Diwas, calls all the people to join with him to save the nation from further degrading its national identity, maintain national unity, and ensure the country’s prosperity and development. He has stated that the time has come to save the nation, uphold national unity, and work for the country’s prosperity and development. Celebrated annually on the 7th of Falgun (late February), this day marks a pivotal moment in our national history, offering a deep dive into the nation's journey towards democratic governance, cultural significance, and public participation .

The rap song sung by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah, “Ma Nepal Haseko Herna Chahanchhu”, has been officially released as a promotional track for the upcoming film Laaj Sharanam. The lyrics, composition and rap by himself a decade ago has made his playback singing debut in the upcoming Nepali movie ‘Laaj Sharanam’. For Laaj Sharanam, Balen granted permission to use the rap, which has now been re-recorded and incorporated into the movie. The video features key characters from the film, aligning with its story-line.
