Corruption has been the people’s concern these days. It is known to everybody that the corruption in Nepal has been deep rooted and institutionalized over the last one and half decades that has made Nepal as one of the most corrupt nation in the world. Nepal will continue to be listed likewise unless and until massive efforts are made to curb the ongoing rampant corruption that has plagued the country. Frustrating acts

It's really tiring and frustrating to see the major political parties continue to extend the deadline for submitting the list of names of their PR candidates. What an irresponsible and immoral acts is this? They should have submitted the names soon after the announcement of the allocation of PR seats by the EC. Instead, they are lingering the selection process and continue to undermine the people's verdict. These parties talk much about democracy, its norms and values, however, are doing purely undemocratic practices. Hope, they realize it in time, correct their mistakes accordingly and lead the nation towards prosperity. On line jobs

Will they learn any lesson?

The Himalayan Times 20 December 2013 Will they learn any lesson? It was interesting to read the news report “Will new lawmakers shun foreign junkets this time?” (THT, 18 Oct. Page 1) that must have drawn the attention of many readers. THT deserves appreciation for making detailed research on this issue and bringing out the findings. It was shameful on the part of the lawmakers who made frequent foreign junkets in the pretext of gaining knowledge about the constitution but failing completely in fulfilling their mandated jobs? It was shocking to know that some of the law makers had even visited foreign countries over 18 times. It shows how much the previous CA lawmakers were irresponsible and insensible towards their jobs.
