Stop playing destructive politics
I am not surprised to see PM Oli
taking a defensive role after he was cornered by his own party's senior
members. Asking him to step down from the Premiership and party's Chair by the
majority secretariat members, he did not have other options besides taking
alternative courses to defend himself using his political acumen and personal
ego.
It was not wise for the other
senior members to play an unwanted political foul game at this time when the
country is completely gripped with COVID-19. They could have amicably sorted out
their party’s internal problem rather than flexing their political numbers and looking for their personal political opportunity.
This has now clearly shown that the then UML and Maoist (Centre) had merged their parties for
their political interest and benefits, definitely not for the country and the
people.
Time has come for the country to
see new conducive political environment for properly managing COVID-19 pandemic
and give relief to the common people who have been immensely suffering from this
dreadful disease.
