Unwise suggestion

Was it necessary for the opposition especially UML and NC to decide to ask the President not to issue the budget ordinance that the government is preparing to recommend to him? Does it make any sense to do so? Does the President lack minimum understanding of his job to perform in accordance with the Interim Constitution? Why don’t the UML and NC let the President to act in his own way rather than instigating him to do this and that? Why are the major parties trying to drag the President into controversy? Is it because the President has not so far been able to fulfil his responsibilities as the head of the state and patron of the constitution satisfactorily? Is he also responsible for lengthening the current political uncertainty by simply asking the major political parties to come to consensus rather than setting the dead line for forging consensus?

Looking closely at the ongoing political tug of war between the coalition government and the opposition, the fate of republic Nepal seems hanging in the middle to the air. It seems that the achievement of second Jana Andolan can be reached out of hands should they not be able to sort out the current political impasse in time. Is it really possible for the major political parties to come to consensus that has been the bone of contention among them for the last four and half years? The country has completely plunged into political darkness and insensible political confrontations. The people seem completely frustrated and tired of blame game of the so called big political parties. They do not seem realize the hardships of the common people. They continue to act irresponsibly and selfishly without being sensitive and accountable to the nation and its people.

All the big parties are equally responsible for pushing the country into this pathetic situation. They should not be blaming each other rather they should be responsibly respecting each others existence and forge consensus on the national issues at the soonest possible. Otherwise, time is running out of their hands and would be too late for them to act and realize. I am nervous with their insensible acts and egoistic politics that might cost them dearly if they continue to do so.
