Dear President
As you are aware with the fact that the
major political parties have completely failed to give New Constitution during
the last four years as mandated by the sovereign people of Nepal. They have now started flexing their
political muscle to claim for the PM's chair instead of coming to a consensus
for the formations of a national government and creating a conducive political environment
for holding fresh election. May be, the time has come for you to be the real guardian
of the Interim Constitution and the nation and play the decisive role to
emancipate the nation from the on going political and constitutional uncertainty.
Why don’t you form a national government, in consultation with all the
political parties, comprising non political intellectuals and professionals to
be lead by among the former judges, giving them the responsibilities of holding
fresh parliamentary election and run the government until the legitimately elected
government is formed? This new parliament will also complete the new constitution
drafting process as well within a given time frame. Otherwise, it seems to me,
the achievements of II Jana Andolan seem sure to be gone out of hands. What you
say?
