Democracy

What I know about democracy? To me, there are four characteristics in it, meritocracy, sincerity, transparency and accountability. Do we find these four core characteristics in our democracy? I don’t think so. All the so called big leaders of so called major political parties are not true democrats since they don’t possess any one of these four characteristics. One way or the other they are autocrats who wanted and want to impose their political monopoly on the people in the name of Loktantra. Unless majority of the Nepali people become aware of their sovereignty rights, they continue to be the political slaves of these political leaders. I hope the days are not so far away. What you say?
