It was encouraging to read about
politicians talking at a time when the situation seems so shaky (“First time
after CA demise, 4 parties sit for consensus talks” June
21, 2012). Blame and power games for the last four
years resulted in the demise of Constitutional Assembly, The political and
constitutional crisis should be solved at the earliest, and there is no
alternative to consensus.
If our politicians don’t act responsibly, it
might be too late for them to keep the crisis from deteriorating. If that
happens, the chances of saving the gains of second Jana Andolan and the CA are dismal.
